Self portrait

Painting a self portrait isn't easy! This has been the toughest portrait I've ever painted. Never mind the eyes, I still achieved the likeness I aimed for and it was testified by the friends and family who instantly recognized it as me. Mission accomplished! :)

    Great painting and hats off to you for even trying to tackle a self-portrait. I'm too scared to even try at this point.

      Thanks Claire, I love doing portraits and it's quite difficult to find a model so thought of doing a self portrait. Though I messed it, I am glad at least I didn't throw it in the bin half finished!
